Where o where have my readers all gone...

Away... I have pushed them all away... dang nab it.. BUT, I hope they will stay with me just a little longer before completely pulling the plug! Things are looking up and I want someone here to share it with when it does!!

Is everyone ready for Christmas? I am.... NOT - SO SO SO NOT!
One thing I am ready for is this...

OOPS! Sorry - wrong picture! That is what the Milk Man is ready for.... me being 'ready to freshen' at any moment... for some reason he likes me barefoot and pregnant... ok, maybe not the barefoot..but defiantly the pregnant.

This is what I am ready for...

For it to be over!!

UGH... I am moving in with Mrs. Mom and the insanity crew... sis - hope you got a bed, heck I will settle for a recliner... maybe just a rug thrown on the floor.. It was warm today, if you call 13 degrees warm. SO - what is everyone doing for Christmas?

Trying to make up our minds what we are going to do for Christmas. So far it is a toss-up between travel ... and stay home in bed. I'm voting for the later. :-p

Good to hear you're still alive and kicking in the frozen north! We don't have to go far for Christmas. One set of parents in town and one only an hour away! Yay! What about you?

We are staying home.. Had considered going to my dads side of the family who we rarely see(for good reasons) but decided against it.. So we are doing what we started several years ago with the girls and staty home and kick back. We go to my parents tomorrow and his parents the day after..

Well hello there Heidi!!! Was really beginning to wonder about you. Wondered if everything was alright ... wondered if you had chosen to go celibate or something, seeings how you had said that the milk man had told you you needed to post more regular if you wanted any .... (o;-p) Wandered just how much of that white stuff you guys had gotten and if you could dig your way out ... wondering about you!!!!

'READY' for Christmas? Surly you jest!!! You do, r-i-g-h-t?!!! Why is it that it always seems to take a lot less than a year to get here again when your the mom? (And I'm not referring to how the stores never seem to really move out of the Christmas season anymore 8-/)

What are we doing? The usual - attempting to survive my side of the family on Christmas Eve and then his on Christmas day. Always look forward to surviving those two so we can get to the fun one - doing it with only our kids the day after ;-> !!! But now "the boys" are all in their 20's, and one has to work the day after, and the married one whom lives out of state is suppose to stay there this year... so not sure when we're actually doing ours - hey, Christmas is only next week. No need to rush making plans or anything ... (insert face thumping it's self on the head)

So, would like to clarify your pictures ... are you or are you not preggers again? We had six pregnancies in six and a half years time (all of them planned against ... God had other plans), out of which we have four sons. My husband use to laughingly say "I was never against her being barefoot and in the kitchen, hadn't meant to always add the pregnant part too o;-b". He's glad I'm still willing to be in the kitchen! Doesn't mind if I choose to be barefoot (or heavily socked this time of year). But glad I finally got past that always pregnant part ;-p {now we have a grand baby and let me tell you - this stage is WONDERFUL too!!!!!!!!!!}

Knowing you, not sure you'll post again this week ... so - Merry CHRISTmas my FRIEND!!!

Well hello! It is good to hear from you. It's also good to know that things are getting better for ya'll. You definitely haven't lost me as a reader. I figured that adding homeschooling to your long list of work would take up most of any "free" time you had. Haha...free time. Yeah right, as though mom's have free time LOL!

We will be staying in town this Christmas. Visiting my parents Christmas Eve, home for Chrismas morning and at my inlaws for Christmas day. For the rest of the Christmas vacation though, we have no plans. For that I am thankful. These last few months have been way too busy.

I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas!

Glad to see you back, Heidi! I'm still up to my ears at work getting ready for Christmas - the organization I work for provides Christmas hampers and gifts for needy seniors - so haven't had time to think about Christmas at home yet! Just a single day off would be nice at this point ... but I'm pretty sure I could be talked into cooking a turkey or something on my second day off! Happy Holidays to you and yours!

Isn't Christmas next month?

Building a dollhouse is what I'm up to right now.

We're going to spend Christmas Eve with my inlaws and Christmas day with my family. It should be great seeing everyone!

AND...I totally thought you were going to say you were preg-oh again!

Whoa! I was so concerned about you! Glad to see you finally posting again!! I hope everything is all right with your family.

Christmas is low-key here this year, and that is nice. Only home-baked goodies for the (adult) kids and games/toys for the grandkids.

The family is getting so large we have to scale back on the dollars and focus on the sense. :-)

Merry Christmas!

Even some of us lurkers are here. I'm ready for a few days off work so I can play with my own toys for awhile. We already had our bi-annual snow in West Texas.

glad to "see" you

we are staying home. My sanity is hanging on by a very thin thread with a colicky baby, naughty 18 month old and a mouthy nearly 3 yr old- that's not even getting into all the bickering the older 2 are doing!

Merry Christmas to you and your wonderful family. We're staying home and enjoying some simple, quiet time together with little outside hub bub and mayhem... okay, so maybe that won't happen in a house full of little girls, but we're staying home.

Did you get hit by the bigsnowstorm then? I thought it was all over finally, only to find my van covered with frozen sn'ice this morning. Again.

My only real gripe is that no one will put wood in the furnace without major arm twisting. You can imagine the forgiveness I was asking for after the string of swear words dripping from my lips at 3 am while I was starting a very dead fire, freezing my pantyhose off while everyone else was sleeping nice and snug in their beds. Sigh. I wish I had magic forver heat that can be maintained with a flip of the switch...oh wait! That's called propane! Ooooooooohhhhhh! I knew I should have rethought that whole indoor toilet thing.

I must admit, winter is the only time of the year I do not love the simple life. Makes me wanna sit right down and drink the whole gallon of homemade cough syrup :)

We had a fun Christmas though. No tree and I managed to make almost all my presents which was awesome. I should post some of that on my site later.

We're still out here, and I hear you on the cold temperatures. Record-setting snow/blizzard in Oklahoma on Christmas Eve, who would have thought?

Hope your Christmas was merry, and Happy New Year!
