Sorry guys - I made yet another promise that I have not kept. We are getting snow here off and on making it SO difficult to get our crops in, buildings and animals ready for winter. Not to mention the boys having been sick. They have been diagnosed with asthma.. YIPPEE!!! we now have a nebulizer machine - and a puppy.. I dont know wich one is more work to be honest...
So much is going on - we are still farming but not sure in what direction we are going yet. This is such a long process... I wish it was just over one way or the other. However, in Gods time as He knows best. I had better get busy. I am truely sorry that I have not been a better friend/blogger/person etc. But, I am still appreciative of all of your love, prayers and support. THANKS FRIENDS!!!
Sue from the Farmers Wife - this is for you!!
Heidi, Miss you so much but know from past experience how busy you are. I think of you often and send up prayers for you and your family. Just know we are all waiting patiently (or at least trying to be) till you are back posting those wonderful stories and adventures. love ya!
ReplyDeleteOh Happy Day! We heard from our favorite Milk Maid!!!
ReplyDeleteMiss you girlfriend, drop a line when you can. Know that you guys are thought about every day in this little corner of the world!!
Squeeze those boys from me, and smack Milk Man's hams ;)
well i GUESS we can forgive you this time "lol" have a great day and post a pic of the boys and the puppy asap
ReplyDeleteHeidi, for goodness sake quit apologizing for living your life! That comes first, not blogging! We're all glad to hear from you whenever we do, but we're sure not going to go away or think any less of you for being busy!
ReplyDeleteWe're having the beginnings of snow up here too. Fortunately for me, the only winterizing I've had to do was my balcony and outdoor flower pots. Actually, I kind of miss getting in the late potatoes and last of the carrots and straw for the small farm animals ...
Hugs from Canada, and no more apologizing!
Eewww to the nebulizer we have lived with one of those since my girls were 2 months old.. Dont have to use it as often now.
ReplyDeleteYeah to the Puppy!!
we have had a crazy amount of rain here but we are pretty much set for winter.. almost...
asthma I know about, we should chat. So any good halloween stuff goin on? Little people dressed up like cute punks or what? Candy? Cookies? Stuff?
ReplyDeleteSnow?? SNOW???? Shut up. I can't be far from here. Thanks so much for the Little House Wayside. Awesome. I'm praying for you daily. Hang in there.
ReplyDeleteHi Heidi :-D So-o good to hear from you!!! B-U-T, I whole heartedly agree with the others - STOP apologizing!!! "Life" happens!!! On a darn regular basis. And your roles as wife and mom definetly carry higher priorites than blogger or even friend! !!!
ReplyDeleteI have allergy triggered asthma. Another of lifes challenges. A helpful tip for you - if you don't have any 'spider' plants, ask around till you find someone you know that does, and have them start a bunch for you. 'Spider' plants eat/absorb the bad things out of the air which highly affect asthma patients (don't ya just love my technical explanation o;-p). So put a 'spider' plant in as many rooms of your house as possible!!! EVERY bedroom, the living room, the kitchen ... The extra good news is that they are a low maintance plant :-D They need day light (can't say sun light seeings how we are into winter 8-/)and weekly watering - Monday mornings before you start your home schooling - water the plants.
I think of you often, and every time I do, I say a prayer for you. 1 - for living in a 'guy world' (which you know I so-o relate to!). 2 - that you'll keep right on being head over tails in love with 'the milk man' (;-}). And 3 - that God will send the sky writer to clearly show you guys what His will is for your life - farming? if not, what?
your FRIEND,
Cheryl B.

p.s. ;-p the word verification they gave me is "mikel" ... is that one of your son's names, or did they spell milk wrong? o;-p
well you know, a family and farm, and working kind of takes up a little of your time........ but I think of you anyway!!! sending hugs
ReplyDeleteJust know we are thinking of you!
