HE'S HOME!!!

Thank you all SO SO SO SO much for your support. Dad is home resting right now, they are not sure when he will be going to back to work. He had an alergic reaction to some plastic that they use daily where he works. One of his co-workers forgot to turn on the ventalation system and he inhaled some wicked fumes. He is still having a hard time catching his breath - but he is home with breathing treatments. Thank you SO much for your prayers - I honestly believe it was the Body of Christ's prayers that helped him....when he first got to the cities - they thought they may have to put him on a ventalator....but they didnt - PRAISE GOD!

Well, amongst all that the Milk Man and I made 8 gallons of Saur Kraut today.... can anyone say its BEDTIME yet! LOL

Thank you again my dearest friends - I can never thank you all enough for sharing my life with me and letting me be part of your day and life. May you all be richly blessed!!!!

Love - The Milk Mans Wife

  7. Thank you Lord!!
We make our own Kraut , we do ours on labor day weekend. My husband always goes overboard, the last time we made it he filled the 20 gallon crock, we are just finishing up the last jar! We use a cutter that was his grandparents. One our favorite holiday foods is sauer kraut soup.

  15. Glad to hear about your dad.

I attempted to make homemade sauerkraut several years ago and gave up. I had the old crock and everything and used a recipe from Marcia Adams, but ended up tipping it out in the woods. I'd be interested in hearing more about yours!
