Hopped up Christmas tree????

So sorry about the pork chop post everyone. I have been under derese, or is that distress, wait maybe its regressed - nope, not that one... so, um, where was I? *blank stare* OH yes, hopped up Christmas tree. Here at Grand Central Farmhouse, we have a strict drug policy. No one does drugs, except hanious amounts of caffine and the at times sickly animals that we have. That being said, you can understand my amazment at this in my living room yesterday.

What you dont see it??? How about a little closer....

>Still no luck? Well, is THIS close enough for you??

HOLY CRAP! My pine tree is shooting up - water? Of course no one would admit that they had this or nothing - however Milk Man said that he had it in his pocket, minus the needle, for the baby calf the other day... mystery solved... hardly - I ask you how/why would this be in my living room if NO ONE has any idea how it got there. I have a feeling that Lispy may have some info that he is not coming forward with. He's great like that. He hid Milk Dud's 'titty' (pacifier for those of you who dont speak Lispy)and I hunted for an hour -YES AN HOUR, with him watching me, before he fessed up and drug it back out -longest freaking hour of my life. So I think he was probably scheming to do somthing to poor Big Son with it, while he was sleeping.

I know there are lots of people who live in the cold, but really this is cold people....

It was -15 below on Tuesday morning and had a -27 windchill - THAT is cold people. The wind drives the cold right through even the best windows and this is the result. The wind was relentless the last couple days and it takes forever to get our chores done. This is what Lispy looks like to go out to 'help' with chores....

and this is my beloved.....

ok, its 2 of my beloved's.... Milk Man was snoozing for all of 10 min, trying to warm up. He has no idea I took this. Let alone that I am putting it up here - he's a toughy ya know, never let em see ya soft....sure, I buy that dont you..

And here is Big Son after his school program. I have to say I think he is pretty dang snazzy lookin...

I was reading Mrs. Mom's a couple of weeks ago and she mentioned Jeff Dunham - we went to Youtube and found Achmed the dead terrorist... you MUST go there and listen before this next part of my post will make any sense... hurry run along and go listen....
For those of you who have seen it, especially you Mrs. M - get your depends ready.
Big Son has been procrastinating lately about his school work. He would rather hold Milk Dud or help me in the kitchen or just about anything else, short of going to the dentist. I was mildly chewing him out the other night as I tried to make supper. However, when he didnt do it and started to watch tv, then the nag machine started.... Somthing like this - Big Son, dont you want to do good in school and do the best that you can? What is the matter lately, are you not feeling well? Do you like to give me pains in my toes for not getting your work done? Do you want to have people think that you cant do your work - that maybe you have learning trouble... and blah blah blah blah blah blah balh , yaddle yaddle yaddle yaddle - gouba gouba gouba gouba.... for about 3-4 minutes. The whole time he is watching tv, I am rattleing like a tin can tied on a newlyweds car. Out of no where he stands on the chair and yells ' SILENCE - I KILL YOU!!! I imediatly shut up and started to laugh as loud as I ever have. He was on the floor laughing and then went to get his school work... we all lived happily ever after, at least for the night.

Tonight the pork chop post - I promise!!! or KILL ME!!
