Hello everyone!!! We are home and well - but exhausted. My age is really showing, dont tell anyone though ok? Thanks.... I knew I could count on you all!
Milk Dud arrived at 9:48 on Wednesday July 30 - he weighed 7lbs 4oz and was 20 in. long - he has LLLLOOOONNNGGG toes and fingers and BLACK hair!! We are all browns, blondes and reds..... oops.... but my mom and dads folks had black hair so I am blaiming it on them!! LOL He is GORGEOUS of course and loves 'titty time'. He eats like a horse and then some. There were 16 women that had babies in the last 4 days at the hospital that I was at. That was a lot!! There were at all times at least 4 women in labor and more comeing in - they had to call some of the schedualed inductions and put them off a couple days till they could move people off of the wing!!!
We have pictures BUT - sister took her camera with her today on her fishing trip. I wasnt able to upload any of them because - well, I was tired girls sorry....
I probably wont be posting for a couple more days - so I hope no one will forget about me!
I feel pretty good, my mom is here to help and she is a saint. I know you all love your moms, BUT I truely have the best mom in the world. She was there for ALL of it and even got to watch the c-section, cut the cord and take him to the nursury. They Milk Man was a no show because a cow was calving.....yup I am serious!!!! LOL
Talk to you all soon - miss you and love you all...
Train Wreck and Mrs. M - his head smells SSSSSSSSSSSSSSOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO good - I made sure you each got your own sniff.. :)
Congratulations!! I am in Texas, but "borrowed" my friends computer to say hello!! I can't wait to see my little milk dude!! Take care and get those pictures up!! So glad everything went well! Black hair and all!!

Welcome to the Milk Dud!!! Hooray. I don't think it's a full moon so what could explain all the labor activity. Was there a snowstorm nine months ago?

I can't wait to see the little guy. Times like these i wish you were just down the road and I could come and have a sniff for myself. There is nothing like the smell of a new baby is there. Glad he's eatting well too. Cannot believe a cow took your spot. That old cow would've had to calve on her own. Hooray for good mom's! If your comfortable, e mail me your address I'd like to send a little new baby welcome.
ReplyDeleteOh Heidi! Congratulations! Can't wait to see a picture.

Whoo hoo! Congratulations to you and your family. I hope you're getting lots of time to take it easy, especially following a C-Section. I can't wait to see pictures and get a baby fix. I have to ask, how did the calving go? Just kidding! Hugs to you all.

ReplyDeleteSORRY for making you wait to see him, but my sister took her camera and wont be back till the weekend!~!!!! I promise to get them up here as soon as her hot hand is in the door!! LOL We are all doing well and he is growing TO FAST already!
ReplyDeleteHi new mommy!
ReplyDeleteSo glad the little guy is here...I'm sure you are, too! I wish I lived closer! I have no grandbabies yet, as neither of my kids are even married yet! Your mom is a Godsend!!!
You know your husband's heart was with you. Poor ole cow needed help, too, as she had nothing to numb her pain. I have heard of calves getting stuck in the birth canal, so guess he can't be blamed for staying with her. Next time he'll be with you, I'm sure! I did say NEXT time! LOL
We're all waiting to see this little "Milk Dud" so will check back this weekend! Know he is a beautiful baby and a very lucky little guy to have been born into such a wonderful family.
Lots of love and kisses to that precious little baby! What do his brothers think of him? I don't envy you one bit, as you are going to have your hands full when your mom leaves, or does she live closeby?
Hope you heal quickly....you have one week down already! That week sure flew by, didn't it!!!
(((((( HUGS ))))))
Congratulations! So happy Mild Dud has made his black-headed appearance and loves the "titty time". You're hilarious! How's your staples, gal? What a stitch, huh? Anyway, I miss you at my blog and will be emailing you shortly about a temporary change at Bayou Woman. Kiss Milk Dud for me, ok?
